Matthew Chapman

Matt has over 13 years experience in the play industry. Having started his play journey in South Africa, Matt made the switch to Ireland in 2019 and has since been developing Timberplay Ireland across NI and ROI. Matthew’s speciality is developing and constructing natural play spaces, with experience in play spaces for public open spaces, leisure attractions, residential schemes, nurseries, schools, and historic properties. His role includes initial site visits, client meetings, design concept development, creating presentations and client interaction, liaising with other professionals, including Architects, Engineers, construction teams and other contractors, supervising construction on site.

Away from work Matt describes himself as 'still a kid at heart' and enjoys a good video game as much as a good play in the park…
